One of my favorite things to do is to get the word out about my favorite products. A while back I signed up to be part of the beta testing for a new product of Google's called GrandCentral. They didn't have any availability at the time so they said they would contact me when they did. Of course I forgot all about it until they emailed me the other day saying I was invited to try it. So I went online and signed myself up. I love it. There are so many features. Let me tell you what it is. You sign up and get a phone number. That number is the one you give to everybody to call and that's the only number they will need. When they call your number all of your other phones ring so no matter where you are you should be able to get the call - no more problems with my cell phone being in my purse at home and me not hearing it. The cool part of it all is the tons of features it comes with.
1. You can screen callers. When someone calls and they are in your address book it will annouce who is calling when you pick up the phone. If they are not in the address book then they will ask the caller to say their name and they will announce it to you. You then have the 4 options. A) Take the call, B) Send the call to voicemail, C) Send it to voicemail and listen in while they leave a message, D) Take the call and record it.
2. You can listen to the voicemail while the person is leaving it for you. AND if you decide you want to talk to them you can jump in on the call then. It's like an old answering machine!
3. You can block callers. When someone calls you can mark them as Spam so they don't even get through next time OR you can have the system play the "doo dooo dooo, this number is not in service" message.
4. Customizable. You can customize what phones ring depending on who is calling you...what type of ring that person will hear...different greetings for different people or groups of people...
5. Switch phones. If you are driving and you are on your cell phone but then you get home and you want to continue the call you can switch to another phone real easy. Just press the * key and all the other phones will ring and you can pick up on another phone.
There are more features but these are the ones I like the best. So far it's been working real good for me. So go check it out and see what you think...

That sounds really cool! I like the pop into the voicemail thing. I've wished I could do that on my cell so many times.
